As our quarantines continue, more and more artists and musicians are heading to social media to lighten the mood. This week, Coldplay’s Chris Martin did a livestream performance from home and so did John Legend, P!nk, and many more.

The Head & the Heart’s Jon Russel took to Instagram Wednesday evening with a very heartfelt performance of their classic “Let’s Be Still.”

In the post, he prefaced by commenting about our current situation in the world saying, “The New Normal is slowing down, The New Normal is boredom, The New Normal is caring, Caring about others we may never see or meet. The New Normal is humanity, Humanity over efficiency Calling you up and breaking things down. The New Normal is just being normal. So, as I find Myself experiencing this New Normal, I have started seeing new meanings in old songs.”
